Week 5: Cinema and the Imagination

So, this week was The Elements of Crime by Von Trier.  Yeah, I found this one rather strange.  It made me at times (could be from the dead horses) think of The Godfather and at other times think of Watership Down.  I usually do okay with images as concepts or ideas that aren't being vocalised, but this film... was just strange.  It also put me in mind of some of the original Star Trek episodes from the 60's, when there were swirling colours and strange camera angles to give a perspective that otherwise would be interpreted differently.
